Mummy Mallard & six chicks
For the first time in the 13 years since we came to Holestone Moor and opened our holiday cottages, Mallards have successfuly bred a brood of chicks! Although we’ve kept our fingers and toes crossed every year when the pair have visited our wildlife and garden ponds, they haven’t been successful. We’re delighted that we now have a fine brood of six young chicks!
