What’s included?

What does fully inclusive mean?

Our aim is to provide a five star welcome to our five star cottages, so we endeavour to provide everything you could possibly want during your stay.
You of course will be responsible for your own personal requirements and your own food and drink.

Usually ‘fully inclusive’ means that heating and lighting are provided – no £1 coins in the meter. But that might only be in the winter.

In our cottages this means that our heating is on constantly, even in the summer (what summer?), so it’s under YOUR control.  There are convector heaters in every bedroom and electric towel rails in each bathroom.  Apart from the convector heater in each lounge there’s also a log burning stove, which is laid ready to light.

Sometimes ‘fully inclusive’ also means that bed linen and towels are included in the price. Bed linen will be provided, but you might have to make up the beds.

In our cottages we provide bed linen – beds are already made up with duvets, 2 pillows per person and spares in each bedroom.  We will provide bedlinen for the z-bed unless you’d rather bring a sleeping bag, in which case we’ll provide the pillows and extra towels.   We can also provide cot linen our for 2 travel cots, though we don’t have cot bumpers.

And you might have to bring your own towels – very bulky, taking up too much space in your packing!

In our cottages we provide nice white fluffy towels – 1 bath, 1 hand and 1 facecloth per person.

Occasionally ‘fully inclusive’ means that logs for the wood burning stove are included. But they might not, or the first basket might be free with payment required for more. Or you might get scrappy wood, from pallets etc.

In our cottages we provide a basket of logs in each cottage, and a large log store just outside each cottage. We have ‘proper logs’, some bought in, and some from our own trees.

Each cottage kitchen has a fridge, freezer, cooker & hob, dishwasher, washing machine and access to a tumble dryer.
